How do you charge for your services?
We provide a free, on-site consultation to discuss your needs. After that, fees are charged on an hourly basis, plus a travel fee if you are outside the greater New Orleans area. We will bill on a monthly basis and payment on our invoices is due by the end of the following month. Ducote Professional Services, LLC saves clients time and money, particularly those who find themselves paying late fees for overdue bills or bank charges for overdrafts.
Will I lose my independence if I hire Ducote Professional Services?
Absolutely not. Our services help our clients remove the stress and anxiety of managing day-to-day finances, but clients or their legal agents retain total control and final authority. In fact, client approvals are required before any funds are ever disbursed on your behalf. By removing the frustrations often associated with managing mail, paying bills on time, or tracking finances, our clients enjoy a feeling of freedom and independence.
By working with Ducote Financial Services, do I have to give up control over my accounts?
No. Our clients retain complete control (including signature authority) over their bank accounts.
If I hire Ducote Financial Services, do I still need other legal, investment, or financial professionals?
Yes. Ducote Financial Services does not provide tax or investment advice. However, we will work together with (not in place of) these other professionals, or assist you in finding qualified professionals. Our team will act as your advocate and serve as a liaison between you and your attorney, accountant, insurance agent, bank/brokerage firm, and financial advisor. All of this is done at your direction.
Will I be working with the same DMM each visit?
Yes, you will. Your daily money manager is dedicated to understanding your needs and situation and will be at every visit. Our CEO will also accompany your DMM as needed to assure that all of your expectations are being met and the work is of the highest quality.

DMM qualifications can vary wildly based upon whom you hire. Other DMMs may not even have a solid financial background. What is your privacy policy?
All client relationships and information are always strictly confidential. We do not exchange, distribute, or share any information we receive from our clients with any third party, unless our client authorizes us to do so. We keep confidential information under lock and key and password protected. We take privacy very seriously and regularly review our internal processes and technology infrastructure to ensure maximum protection for our clients.
